Now i thought i made pretty decent money but when you sit down and add everything up, good money ten years ago is barely keeping your head above water now. I sat down and decided my own averages and rough guesses on basics for a family, just remember this isnt everyone and is actually based on my opinion only so please respond and correct me. These are all per month. And my guess to be a three person family. Two adults and one child.
House payment (or rent): $650
Small car payment: $300
Insurance for one car: $75
Groceries: $300
Gas: $50(LMAO RIGHT!!!) $300
Clothes: $75
Health insurance and life insurance: $75
Utilities (gas, electric, water, sewage): $250
Phone: $50
Misc (emergency, school supplies, lunch money, ect...) $150
And this does not mention money you should be saving! $2225 a month. If my math is right which it probably is not. Can you all think of anything else? You would have to net at least $26700 a year and gross around what? $35000? And thats not saving a dime for a rainy day or retirement. That is horrible!

Maybe a car dealer can help me here. I understand that truck trades are not all that great but do dealers just have a big meeting and decide how they will take more money from the customers? lol. i have a newer model truck that i gave 18500 a little over a year ago with the Blue Book being worth 20K. I have been to 4 different dealerships in the city and outlaying areas and i can not seem to get more than $8000 for it on a trade. When the prices of trucks just like mine are stickered for 16000-18000... and the trade worth is around 13000... Whats going on here? The big city dealers wont help you that much because they know if you dont take their deal they will just do it to the next guy that comes in. But at least the dealers in smaller towns have to try to actually earn your business. And what is it with dealers in big cities knowingly not having what you want but trying to sell you something that you would despise and take up your time in an attempt to lure you in? Lol. Iv been having bad luck lately with any dealership. Not just with my trade but in general. What happened to salesmanship? To lets make a deal no matter what. Not this take it or leave it. I should be the one walking out and them calling me with another deal not them telling me this is it and me calling them and taking the deal anyway. WHATS UP!!!!!

and here is some interesting reading for you!
Collision Losses by Type: The IIHS says that supersports have the overall highest insurance losses under collision coverage among the motorcycle classes, almost four times higher than for touring models and more than six times higher than for cruisers. Nine of the ten motorcycles with the highest losses were supersports. Claim frequency is driving the high losses for supersports, meaning that they are involved in more collisions than other types of motorcycles—there were 9 claims per 100 insured vehicle years for supersports models, compared with 2.3 for all models. The models surveyed were all 2002-2006 models. Touring motorcycles had the most expensive claims because they are the most expensive to purchase. Supersport models are the most popular with thieves—with average loss payments for theft losses per insured vehicle years of $246 for 2002-2006 models, seven times higher than the average for all motorcycles. Supersport models had the highest frequency of thefts—31.8 per insured vehicle year, compared with cruisers and touring models which had the lowest at 1.1 claims per insured vehicle year. However, touring models had the highest average loss payments—$15,696, reflecting their high purchase price and upgrades.
Please bring all arguments. lol ;)

Just curious who would buy one of these for only 30-35 miles a gallon? I would rather buy a geo metro and get the same or better and have a full car around me. Or ill take my harley that gets 40-50 miles to the gallon. i wouldnt mind riding a spyder but it should get more like 50-60 for me to by one. Some cars get 30-35 mpg so i would think that something that weighs only 800 to 900 lbs, would get WAY better. whats everyone think?

Now just to set the record straight i am a NON-smoker. Yet i still cant see why people are banning smoking in bars. I mean is it a health issue? Couldn't be. Why because people go to bars to drink. Is drinking always good for you. NO! The air quality in most cities are worse or equal to smoking. All this is is a form of discrimination. How isn't it? Singling out one type of people (smokers) and telling them they can't do what they do. What happened to freedom. Now we have a bunch of winers wining about "If we can't have smokers they can't" GROW UP! Gamblin isnt good for you drinking isnt good for you. Heck get technical, driving isnt good for you. They dont know what causes cancer. Iv had several people in my family that have had cancer and did or didnt survive and did and didnt smoke. I dont like people who walk funny it makes me uncomfortable (<--- sarcasm) so lets ban them from places i go. I know that some smokers will not go to bars in the city now that have banned smoking and go to surrounding areas and i know that many smokers will choose not to gamble now because of this supposid ban. The school i went to has budgets cuts now, is it because money is getting spent on trying to get people to stop? Is it because people are quitting because of the money spent on trying to stop, is it because people dont go out to bars as much anymore because of this ban. Are budget cuts get worse because of less tobacco tax revenue? Now taxes from the bars, now taxes from casinos? Now im not saying to change these bans, i am all into peoples freedoms and rights. I am saying DONT GO OVERBOARD!!! Maybe we should ban drinking in bars and at games and at casinos.

I wrote this in another blog and decided that it was good enough to blog it by itself. now i like a challenge so argue with me but im hoping everyone could be respectful. thanks And by the way i dont always see the whole picture so please teach me. Im not claiming to be a supporter or non supporter of G. W. Bush or our government. I stand up for this country and the underdog... everytime.
I really like it when people see the whole picture and nothing personal about it. CONGRESS MAKES DECISIONS TOO!!!!!! NOT JUST G. W. Bush. THE SENATE ALSO HAS THINGS TO DO WITH RUNNING THE COUNTRY. AND THE FREAKING STOCK MARKET IS WORLD WIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT JUST USA! The stock market is going down because people are afraid to spend they're money, why? they may be scared, scared of terroism? scared of what Bush is saying? OR SCARED OF A COUNTRY THAT DOESNT SUPPORT ITSELF AND SAYS THAT BUSH IS GOING TO END THIS COUNTRY. Bush isnt the biggest problem it is the people of this country ruining it. bush doesnt rob the bank or shoot up the school or let our kids watch rated R movies and play violent video games, or not work and not pay into social security and then draw from it. Its the adults and im assuming you are older than me being as i am still relatively young its actually your (the older generation) the younger gen. hasnt had a chance to screw things up. thanks.

I have seen on the news lately the fuss about bars in Missouri. Now I like to go out and have an occasional drink and cut loose. But some area bars are completely out of control. I can see why people are going to extremes to get things under control. In Warrensburg, Mo. (which i live near) there is a place called Pine Street downtown, or bar street, things there can get absolutaly out of control. Every year during homecoming there is an all call for the area police departments and many police end up getting injured from the routiness there. During a regular weekend it can also be a major trouble spot and officers have to patrol that area specifically taking away from the safety of other citizens in the area, also making it take sometimes longer on emergancy call for residence, not just in the city but in the county. There is another place in Knob Noster, Mo called Do Drop Inn (formally Club 66) people come from Kansas City and as far away as St. Louis specifically to start fights and cause trouble once again taking the local P.D. away from the people. I would like to see something done but the extremes we are talking will only lead to more citations and arrests. If bars were as stricked as the casinos there would be less of a problem with underage drinking making it obsolete. The cities have began to close down bars because of the complaints and "roughness" of the bar, sometimes ruining peoples lively hood trying to make a living. Of course a more popular bar would be more likely to have problems but this, i dont believe, is the way to do it...

Im sorry to anyone who likes this guy. But i really think he is an idiot. Sure everyone is entitled to there opinion and i respect him for that. But what i dont like are hippiecrits. (lol) He says that the government is trying to cover up 9/11 and is trying to make us believe that terroist did it and that they already knew it was going to happen and they want to make money off of it. NOW FOR THE DUH!!! Did you read that clearly? The government is trying to make us believe... Well guess what he is trying to make us believe otherwise and is also trying to make money off of his films? So who is more obviously making money off of the pain and suffering of others??? Bowling for Columbine... Feirenhite 9/11... and now a new one. All of these movies are simply prostituting the pain of other people. I use the word prostituting because he is using other people to make money. Now im not the smartest person you can tell that by the way i can't spell but whats 2 + 2 = 4. He makes his living the same way as the polititions do. Stepping on other people. He calls his movies documentories. I call them propoganda for the movement againts the government (Or even Amercia). If you watch his movies you can always see things in them that just dont add up the way he thinks they do. Its people like him that are contributing to the down fall of America. He is not unlike outsourcing or importing. Please if you like Michael Moore don't think less of me. Respect my opinion and freedom of speech just as i do yours and his.
Comment on this Bulletin and use your freedom of speech. BUT I DO ASK TO KEEP IT CLEAN!!!

I work for a small manufacturing plant east of kansas city. Slowly but surely i keep seeing job in the plant go over seas to china. The plant has really slowed down which has lead to days off during the week. combine that with the low pay already it makes it really tuff. What i want to know is that when i look at our product boxes it says proudly made in the USA. And i laughed but then i thought that made in the USA really meant something to people. It means that when you buy this product you are helping the citizens of this great nation and you are putting money back into the usa's economy, it also means you are buying a quality product. But why could be business and smaller companies get away with this false advertizing? People think that well if you keep the product in the us it will be more expensive. WHAT?!?!?! Not by much the way big business looks at it if the could build say a lawn mower for $3000 in the us and sell it for $3500 thats good you make a $500 profit on every mower sell ten thousand and you really got something. Now lets say we buy our mower from china and they build it for $2950 and we are still selling it a $3500 thats a bigger profit over ten thousand units. but if your customer cant afford it because there job went over seas then where are we at. I think that law makers (if they could empty there fat pockets for a second) should make some sort of law that states if your main company is located in the USA and you want to put made in the USA on your product then at least 95% of the product should be made in the USA. Now if companies are saving so much money going over seas why are the over seas companies coming here!?!?!?! example TOYOTA. I am a die hard american and would only buy american autos and other american products but now toyoto has brought a thousand jobs to the us they are looking better to me. But if we do make a law for made in the USA then the companies will have to be regulated on profits such a HARLEY DAVIDSON i looked at there lowest class lowest options bike and it was $8000 i went to kawasaki and look at there upper lower class bike and they wanted $4900. Is that because they can build it cheaper NO!!! IT COST THE SAME TO BUILD BOTH BIKES. Just like it cost the same to build a suburban and a yukon denali but they are so much more expensive. take an options on your car and take 80% off of it thats the company cost. Thanks for reading my blog and i really looked forward to hearing everyones opinions.
