KANSAS CITY, MO.  --  A new government report shows 18 percent of teen girls have HPV, the sexually transmitted disease that can lead to cervical cancer.

There is a vaccine to protect against it. And in the Metro, the HPV shots are free at various clinics.

The Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City and the Reach Foundation pay for them.

For clinic locations, call the United Way at 816-474-5112 or visit www.mohpv.org.
