2007 VFW Convention Headquarters

KANSAS CITY, Mo.  --  The VFW's 108th annual convention, which runs Saturday through Thursday, is being held in Kansas City, where the VFW has its national headquarters, for the first time since 1999.

Senators John McCain and Hillary Clinton spoke on Monday. Senator Barack Obama and former Senator Fred Thompson spoke Tuesday. President Bush spoke about the upcoming Iraq report on Wednesday. The latest candidate to swing through Missouri was Barack Obama. Senators Hillary Clinton and John McCain took the stage at the VFW Convention at Bartle Hall on Monday. Senator Obama and former Senator Fred Thompson are scheduled to speak on Tuesday.
