The Good Old Days

I grew up in a time when we could afford Doctors, hospitals, houseing, food, and gas. Before unions ran alot of companies and insurance was a had to have on cars. I listened to music that you could tell what was said, and your parents said be home by dark and by george you were cause you would be standing for a few days if you weren't. Seatbelts were invented, and our country still had one room schools. Where I grew up we all knew everyone and the police knew our families. There was very little crime because we all knew Jonny, Mary and My parents and you lived in fear that mom and dad would find out you cussed. I remember sitting politely listening to the elderly go on and on about the good old days and thought black and white TV was too cool. We got 2 or 3 channels and loved it. Hop Along Cassidy was my hero. You still listened to shows on the radio and with your parents.
I was there when they passed the law that 18 was now the offical legal age and you did not need your husbands signature to get your tubes tied. I was alive when the first color TV was introduced to the market and I was on a swing when JFK was killed outside our then 2 room school house. Yes those were good old days when you could play outside at the park until dark with no parents to watch you, and you knew who needed help because their dad was out of work and the nieghborhoods chipped in to help. I watched wars come and go and people complain about them. I lived in a time when Children were children, not so many young mom and dads. I watched the hippies, yippies, and other groups come and almost go. I watched LSD hit the drug market and ruin lifes.
I learned to drive before you had to insure your car and we drove tanks of a car. That was when a car lasted forever and you got the old family car. My first car was a 49 olds delta 88 and I loved it. Yes they were the good old days, when parents let you play because we were a community and every mom watched out for every child as they would their own. I watched this change to no one knows their neigbors and don't want to, where you see nothing, hear nothing, say nothing, then complain when nothing is being done to solve anything.
I lived when we all took care of each other and never expected the government to do it. We did what had to be done because at that time we were a community of people who BBQed with each other and gathered at homes to watch the news, TV programs and talk about family. Where we found the teens at Johnnies on 22cd street, (AZ) and could bring our kids home if it was too late for them to be out. Yes I lived in the good old days when we weren't taxed to death and killed sitting on our porches nor did we fear our children playing at the park. Things have changed and we now have computors, and our kids are not safe in their own yards much less the park and mom works so we have latch key kids. And drive in movies were the thing.
Now schools are huge and our kids do not learn as much nor do they help the younger ones like we did. Yes I think I did live in the good old days even if we didn't have airconditions and all these modern things. We had each other and kids who played outside and moms at home cooking dinner and taking care of them and faimily was the center of your world. We knew every one and we talked to the police and life was much slower. Those were the days. Today I have lived for 5 years and can't tell you who lives on my old street cause I do not know them. I move to a small town because my husband got sick for a year and we lost everything. But I moved to a place where every one knows every one and the police stop and talk to you and We all gather at the local fast food place to listen to gospel music.
I think I may have moved to the good old days, only it cost more and I have a computor, and we are still struggling but we have great neigbors and they know us and we know them. Our kids play outside and at the parks and we don't worry. We can work with the doctors not the insurance companies and we take care of our large family called the community. Yes I have moved into a time warp and it is nice to be home. I have moved to an age where moving slow and caring about each other is the thing to do. It's good to go back in time to the good old days.
Small Town With Lots Of Heros

Now this is a true story of a small town and how several families going threw the same crunch we are reached into their pockets and dealt out a few hundred or so to help a senior whose mother has a very bad heart and can't work, his father died a few years ago, and they live on a very small income. Needless to say she had to choose either his prom or his cap and gown for garduation. She chose the cap and gown because that is all she could afford so he could not go to the prom. He was too embarassed to tell this to any one so he claimed he just didn't want to go. But a group of families figured it out. One bought him a suit, one paid for his ticket, and one paid for his girlfriends, while another rented the limo for her son and his friends to go to the prom which included this child. This was done because they saw in his eyes the real pain he felt and it reached out to them.
Now none of them are rich, none of them have secure jobs, all of them have their own children to worry about, yet they all reached down and gave so one child could remember his last year of school with fond memories. Now they didn't save the world, write a novel, or make front page news, but they are all heros because they saw a need and met it without embarassing the child, or his mother. It was an extra ticket, a suit the wrong size and extra seats in a limo and a girl with a ticket who didn't have a date. It was a night to remember for a child who needs good memories. It was a community taking care of it's family. Even the ones who are not related.
Rules Are Rules, Suck It Up

One blogger believes that it is fair and just if over 100s of thousands of voters in 2 states lose their votes because they are unaware that voting at their only primary is against the rules set up by an outside source. Of couse these people were not told their votes were useless, and they were breaking the RULES, They were not given two dates to vote and a choice, NO their right to vote was taken from them because the state broke a rule set by people who do not live there, do not pay their taxes and do not pay for the equipment and expence of running 2 primaries. So sorry about your bad luck but the powers that be said you DO NOT COUNT if your state doesn't go by their rules. It isn't your states rules, it isn't a federal law, it is the rules of one group. There is no law on the books saying you have to do it their way or it is the highway, no it is 1 groups rules.
Now that is so fair, you have no choice when to vote but you should of stayed home because your vote was not counted any way. You broke the rules you, were not given a choice to not break. gees, I'm glad I not am I a party to that group. Because you can not break a rule you did not have a choice on. That is so insane it is unbeleivable. The democracy at work.
Untapped Markets

Now for all of you that think Illegals are a pain, TN bootleggers have found an untapped market. Seems the illegals can't buy booze the normal way because they need valid id's so a group of bootleggers in TN opened store for just that market. The shame is they got arrested and the illegals that buy the hooch are still out there. There is a bright side, now that it made the news we may see more Americans keeping some of our money here with a new untapped market. Give those people a hand for thinking of how to beat the game.
I'm not saying what they did is right. I just think if the goverment wont deport them then why shouldn't a few Americans make illegal money off illegals making illegal money. When it comes down to it all they did is take our money from one source and put it back into the economy. Isn't that what the goverment wants? A boost to our economy?

I can say this with no regrets. I love my country, and I have always loved our freedom to vote as we see fit. Now I am confused. The democrates have tried to keep their people from coming on Fox stations, have taken 2, not 1 but 2, complete states and said their votes do not count. They have had threats of riots if one candidate was not elected in their primaries. They have acted and are acting shamefully. I think for the first time in my life I am ashamed for some of the practices allowed in our country.
How dare any one say your votes do not count no matter when you cast them, how shameful to threaten to riot if your candidate does not win. How dare any political party say you can or can not run. Who do they think they are? I am glad I am not a democrat. At this time they are behaving poorly. How sad it is when you point out facts about any candidate and you are called a terrorist because you wont vote for the other peoples pick.
What is even more shameful is a party candidate who doesn't want 2 states votes counted. Personally I would vote for any one but him, (and I do not need to mention his name), and if his wife wants to feel ashamed of our country, well now might be a good time. Looking at a clip of one debate it "looked" as if her husband was flipping the bird at a female candidate. Yes this is a year we all should take a good look at what is going on and voice our outrage that any American could act the way this group has.
How many of you would like to be told that your vote was not going to count? How many of you would like to hear if the person you voted for won the others' supporters would riot? How many of you think any political party has the right to tell any one which station they can be interviewed on? And they call themselfs Democrates? I hear people say Republicans want to control you, well they better look at the Democrates. Now that is control.
As for me I am niether party and the reason is I like to choose whom I like and it may not be the same party every year. I now know it will never be from a party that treats it's people like that. Shame on them. Shame, shame, shame. But look at the bright side, when Hillary bows out then your votes will count because the man they want will be your candidate. After all you throw 300 deligates in Hillerys camp who has the lead?
Are We Doing This Wrong?

Are we going about getting changes wrong? The illegals protest, the Unions go on strikes, but we complain and sit at home. Maybe we need to make picket signs and take to the streets on a given day. Let our government see we are tired of illegals, special intrests, and them giving themselfs raises at our expence. Go out in force and let the Congress and House of reps know we have had it. Our government wastes billions on stupid special intrest groups, illegals collecting welfare and taking our jobs, and pay raises to give us the shaft. What would the government think if Americans got togather and went on strike? If we put our foot down and halted their wild spending of our money? After all they have garenteed retirement even if they only work 4 yrs and they have higher pay, better benifits, and I bet they don't drive a 10 year old car or truck because they are jobless, no they drive leased cars we pay for. I know they can buy food, pay utilities and make their morgage. Yet alot the very people supporting them can not do these basic things. They feel just fine funneling billions to forien countries and then adding more taxes on our backs. Do they not realise we can voice our protest load and clear. If every city, town, burg, and farmer picketed in our cities do you think they would hear our voices then?
About Rev Wright

Rev. Wright keeps saying the white American slave owners. Who of you out there owns a slave or ever owned one? Speak up and be heard. Also did he forget it was his forefathers, the Africans in Africa gathering up their own people and selling them into slavery? So why isn't he going after them? And what is he saying when he was a slave? How old is he? He doesn't show his age I'll give that to him. In order to have been a slave he has to be over 100 years old. I am so sick of people who want to use something that happened so many years ago as a basis of hate today. If you want to say you are mad at what was done years before you were born then lay it at the feet of all guilty, the African tribes, the slaverers and the whites that bought them, and then give credit to the many white Americans who died to free his people years ago. But some how Rev. Wright forgets that part of history. Alot of people forget that part of history. It is too easy to blame all of one race instead of a few. It is just as wrong to blame or think all blacks think like Rev. Wright. It is just sad that a person would teach such poison to people. As long as we have KKK's and Rev. Wrights, and skin heads and etc. we have hatred. Bury the past it can not be changed. Move forward not backwards. Next will be the Government paid Rev Wright to say and do what he did so Obama would not get elected.
Illegals And Our Boarders

When you allow every body who crosses our boarders illegally to stay you are opening a can of worms. You can not say this group can stay that group has to go. It isn't just Mexico. If we allow every illegal to stay you are talking about some that come over here with criminal back grounds and use us to hide out, you have terrorist, you have good, and you have bad. You have the ones that kill, steal cheat, and you have the ones that work hard. We can not solve their countries problems and with Mexico, if that many are sneaking across the boarder why aren't they working to solve their countries problems?
Why are they not investing in starting some kind of business in their country to help their people? Why are we suppose to support not only them but their families in their country when we have enough people over here on food stamps and houseing assitance, and diffrent forms of welfare? Yes I feel sorry for them and their plite but I also feel sorry for all the people over here who are jobless because that factory job is being worked by some one who is illegal. I feel sorry for that construction company that went under because some company full of illegals can under bid them by thousands, I feel sorry for the roofers who have to compete with unions and illegals.
I feel sorry for all the legals who are busting their butts to earn a living and paying taxes to have it go out on illegals who, on the most part, do not pay taxes but use our free medical, food stamps, and houseing. I feel sorry for that legal American couldn't get houseing because an illegal has it. Have you seen how many shelters we have that are too full? How many families are struggling to find enough jobs to pay bills to keep food and a roof over their heads? My daughter works where their are more illegals than legals and they earn between $9.00 starting pay and up. If you have $0.00 an hour you would not mind one of those jobs. In the state of TN they rounded up 143 illegal factory workers in one factory, you think 143 legal Americans wouldn't want those jobs with Americas' unemployement so high?
You may say it isn't right to seperate their children from them when all they wanted was to work. Well they committed a crime just like the FLDS in TX and the bank robbers, and the murders but we do not feel sorry for them when they leave their children behind. We have to abid by the laws of this country so if you are not from this country you should have to abid by them. Too bad, too sad, if they get arrest and sent home. They broke our laws not us. Yes it is sad for their children, our prisons are full of men and women with children and that is sad too but I don't want them set free. Personally I wish we could ship them out of our country too. I do not feel sorry for the bleeding hearts who feel we should let some one who breaks our laws go free. They should give their jobs to the illegals, and foot the bills for them but the rest of us should not have to carry that burden. And that goes for the polotitions as well. You want them here, take the 300 billion plus to support them out of your pockets.
The U.S. Congress:
The Powers of Congress
The Constitution grants Congress "all legislative powers" in the national government. Article I, Section 8, of the Constitution lists a wide range of congressional powers, including:
- Coining money.
- Maintaining a military.
- Declaring war on other countries.
- Regulating interstate and foreign commerce
Congress also controls federal taxing and spending policies—one of the most important sources of power in the government. The Constitution also gives Congress the authority to "make all laws which shall be necessary and proper," an implied source of power sometimes called the Elastic Clause.
One of the most important implied powers is Congress’s authority to investigate and oversee the executive branch and its agencies, such as the Department of Defense and the Department of Justice. As part of this responsibility, which is known as oversight, Congress summons senior officials to answer questions from members, orders audits of agencies, and holds hearings to air grievances of citizens.
Congress also holds hearings on matters of general public concern. Sometimes members of Congress conduct these hearings to identify problems that create a need for new laws. In other cases Congress holds hearings to raise public awareness about an issue.
There are, however, some congressional powers that are rarely used such as the ability to impeach an official and the ability to amend the Constitution.
In addition to the power described above, Congress shares powers with the president in matters such as, framing U.S. foreign policy and control over the military. For example, while the president negotiates treaties, they are only put into effect once the Senate approves them. Also, while Congress can declare war and approve funds for the military, the president is the commander-in-chief of the military.
To learn more, choose from the following:

I thought maybe some of us needed a refreasher course on who has the power in Washington D.C. and who doesn't. As I have said over and over it is easy to blame the President for the taxes, and the state of our country but as you can see it is not the president but the congress who holds the power. The senators we vote in. So bash Bush all you want but take a look at who does the budget for our country and the spending. Look at who writes the laws in and deals with our concerns for any matter that grieves us. It is the Senate. This is fifth grade history. So are we smarter than a fifth grader or do we just keep on listening to a bias media?
On a Lighter Note My Dog Mouse.

As some of you know I have this little 10 to 11 lb dog, depending on if he ate dinner and a snack, named Mouse. He is a tad larger than a rat but alot of cats are bigger than he is, not that he knows this. Well he is a spoilded brat who also hogs the bed. I have a king sized bed and he sleeps with me or I should say allows me a cornner of the bed. No matter how many times I start out in the middle of the bed I always end up on the edge with him curled up in the center of my back.
He has a quilt that is his blanket. He loves to be covered by it and you can't trick him with another one. He naps with it just like a baby does. Sometimes he buries himself under it and at others he just covers up and takes his nap. He does this on his own and will get upset if his blanket is not where he left it. It is a queen sized quilt and he drangs it to where he wants it. He does have a large doggie bed he uses when he is upset, but his blanket is his blanket and no other will do.
He has issues, as in if you call kitty kitty he will come running, he is doing his best to learn how to climb trees, as his buddies the squirrels do this and he can't catch them so he has managed to get part way up one tree. He just hasn't figured out how not to fall when he reaches this branch that curves out. I think if he ever figures out he could go up the middle then onto the branch we may be climbing up to get him down.
He has never hurt anything he's caught and he believes every one and everything is his playmate. He tries to play with donkeys that stray into our back yard but they don't really see it that way, he has gone after raccoons to make them play, they din't think he was such a hot friend either, and he has tried to play with bugs. He keeps busy tring to find and make new friends. When he isn't running around like he has bees trying to catch
him he is taking a nap with that blanket.
We have learned to except that he is a small confused dog who thinks he is a greatdane and we love him but he really needs to find out he is just a very small dog that not everything wants to play with and other blankets are just as good as his and for crying out loud share the blasted bed!
I don't know just what he thinks he is nor why he has attached himself to this quilt nor do I understand his liking for all types of creatures but I do know he doesn't see anything as a threat if it is a living thing so we have to keep him in a fence to protect him from himself as we have moved to the country and now there are goats, cows, horses and donkeys living all around us and he just wants to play with anything with legs. I know he loves everything and has a heart as big as an elepants in a dog as small as Mouse. He loves everyone and everything even if it doesn't love him back. Such is a day in the life of our Mouse.
Healing and Moving On

News
In order to heal from anything terrible that has happened in your life there comes a time you have to put it behind you. If it is a crime against you you need to place the blame where the blame belongs then get over it. If you hug it to you you will never heal. This applies to most things in life. Now something that happened to your grandparents' parents should be easiest to get rid of the anger but when you have some one feeding the flames it will never die. The sad thing is the anger is dirrected at people who had nothing to do with it.
Rev. Wright is a fine example of a person filled with hate, bitterness, and anger. He is to be pitied and prayed for, ( for those of us who believe in prayer) , as he hugs everything that will eventual destroy everything most of wish to gain. In reality, a long time ago, before most of us were born, there was slavery. The thing that is over looked is who rounded them up and sold them to the slavers who sold them to our forefathers. Their own people did on the most part. So if you want to fan the anger fan it towards all involved and that includes the tribes in Africa who capture and sold their people so many years ago.
It is time to let all this hate die and start to build a relationship where we try to except who and what each of us are by our actions not our forefathers as let's get real, none of us can change the past we can only change our futures and the future of our children. Do we want it filled with hatred and bitterness over things we can not change or healed and moving on? We need to move on. Bad things have happened to blacks, whites, mexicans, chinese, and indians, etc. . Bad things are happening still, in some countrys just being alive is a blessing.
If you look at all the people killed in masses, and starving, and dying from lack of proper medical care in todays world what happened years ago was bad but it is over and you aren't one of those with so little to look forward to today. And no my people weren't slaves at one time that I know of, but they were driven off their land, killed, put on reservation, and starved, that is the one part, there is the other that fled Germany because they were being killed and tortured there, and then we have that part that was English and just came here to have the right to practice their faith.
Yes for the half that is American Indean I could be really tick off, for my Jewish granddad I could be very bitter, but in reality it is in the past and I can't change it. As far as I know none of you did any of the things done to my forefathers. Don't forget but get past the hatred and anger and move on to the healing.
Now I know this is going to make alot of people angry but the truth is alot of the slaves were sold by African tribes. So it was not just a white trade but a black one as well so who do you hate?
The IRS and Bankruptcy

Category:

Yes, now we have a situation. Where the bankruptcy doesn't get you the IRS will. I watched a company go under and file bankruptcy. They lost everything that allowed them to earn a living. In the mist of all this the IRS seized their accounts so they couldn't pay the people who worked for them. It wasn't that they were not trying to pay their taxes it was that with very little work and workmans comp, unemployeement, wages, social security, insurances, and general upkeep they simply had no money.
The IRS being the nice people they are seized the work accounts and personal and left them nadda to work with. Luckily a freirnd loaned them enough to pay their employees but they have no money for themselfs. Now I love our country but there comes a time when you have to ask yourself what are they thinking? If you can't pay your bills and keep your company going then why not starve you and put you on the street? They know you can't collect unemployeement because you owned the company.
So we all go blissfully on our ways and keep electing the same morons who use our taxes to support illegals, special intrest, and themselfs while hundreds of people lose their bussiness and their homes, and end up where? I love my country but maybe it is time for a house cleaning and new laws and a good look at the IRS. Not to worry it wasn't me and alot of you can say that but have you looked around at the new faces in town? They don't speak english and they have alot of jobs that belong to us.
Our Rights and Our Schools.
Apr 27, 2008 | 8:02 AM PST
Category:
News
I have given some thought to our rights as an American. There is no doubts that they are dwindleing every time we vote to take one more away. Now we had prayer in schools but it offended a few so we took it out. We teach the theory of evalutions, and it is a theory which means it can not be proved but we do not allow creation to be taught. Why you might ask. I have a theory, because all those who oppose do so because they think it can't be proved. Well if they think it is theory then it should be allowed as well as any other theory.
I've watched as taking the basic teachings of the Ten Commandments out and that went well. Now we have a new generation of children who think lie, cheat, steal, and kill are the rules of the day. Maybe this being too careful not to step on any toes is a right we should re-evaluate. Why should we have to have private schools to give our children a better education? Because we do not want them expose to teaching we do not agree with. We do not want them afforded birth control without our knowledge, or abortions, nor do we all want them taught we evolved from an ape, monkey or any other primate.
What we should have is a school where the non-praying, don't want the Ten Commandments, and want our kids to think they are the great grandchild of a primate go to and one where the prayers and ten comandments and the belief in creation is taught. After all we all pay taxes for schools so we should all have equal rights. Where the parents who do not want their children taught about sex at the ripe old age of 10 or 11 can do just that. After all whensex education was first introduced the rate of teen pregnacies went up not down and has gotten younger and younger as this teaching goes to the younger groups.
Maybe we should go back to the basics of teaching math, english, ( and God knows our children need that taught), history, social studies and sience. What is wrong with learning these subjects? Why should our children all be taught things that alot of us disagree with? After all do you really think you were once a monkey? I think some of us may have been but not me. Do we really think the Ten Commandments are so bad? What part of it sends a moral or life threating message? What was wrong with teaching morals in school?
I see that sparring the rod has spoiled the child no end. That the more rights we lose the worse our nation becomes. I just wonder what will be next to go? Taking God off our money, out of the pledge, and all mention of the Almighty out of the constitution and declaration? And it does say the Almighty Judge of the world and the year of our Lord and one nation under God and in God we trust. I see no mention of Darwin but I could of missed it.
I do know that the more the state teaches the more children are going to heck in a very weak hand basket. Maybe we should have 2 types of school and see which is fullest in the end. Makes me wonder. Just split the schools in half. One side for one type of teaching and one side for another. Seems fair to me and all our rights are covered. Or is it my way or no way? That seems to be how we do. Just curious.
Hepatitis And My Friend
Apr 23, 2008 | 11:07 PM PST
Category:
News
Just over a year ago I heard about hepatitis and learned alot about it. It is spreading silently but none the less in large numbers. It destroys your liver and if advanced far enough you need to have a liver transplant. It can kill but usually it just makes you very ill. When you get it you have to watch every pill you take because you can no longer take anything that may effect the liver. You have to stop drinking booze, and that means none at all. The treatment rivals cemo and if it doesn't work, which alot of the times it doesn't, you have to go threw it again.
The medication you take for it can give you hives, cause your hair to fall out, makes you sick and you lose wieght, and alters your personality. It can make you want to kill yourself and alot of people give up before they finish the treatment. I learned how families have broken up over it because the person on the treatment can get real mean. Some become so weak they fall down alot and need some one to care for them. It is not pleasant. Alot have lost everything they owned because of the cost of treatment and the length of time it takes.
You can get it from tatoos, blood tranfusion, and shared needles. It can not be found until it is active but you can have it for 20 years and not know it. When tested it just does not show. And when you think it is gone it can come right back because it is so hard to test for when the count is low in your blood.
Well my friend got it he wasn't sure how as he had tatoos, and when younger did drugs. Could of been any one of those. He also use to drink alot but gave that up because of hep. He isn't young and figures he has had a good life so when his liver doctor ask him if his liver gets worse would he be up for a transplant, he said no. I ask him about why he would say no when it could extend his life and he gave me this answer.
I can not blame anyone for getting Hep-c, I brought it on myself and heck I have had a good life. I have lived longer than I thought I would so I am content. Some one younger may need a liver that I used to save my life when realisticly I only have a few years left anyway. I wont go threw that treatment again because what life I have left I want to live with friends and shoot they say it could be 30 years before it kills me if it is back (The treatment has cost him all his savings and put him in debt.) and I will have died of old age by then.
Now his teeth used to be so white and healthy but the treatment rotted them out, he hasn't much energy but when he does he is pretty busy living his life, he has aged in looks, and he doesn't have many friends but he thinks of others and their needs before his. How he got Hepc he doesn't know but he does think more people should know. He thinks it is not in the news as much as it should be. So I am putting it here and just letting you all know that it is a terrible thing to get and comes in many types, Hep-a, Hep-b, and Hep-c. This can cost a fortune to get rid of and you never know if it is gone. Most people can't work when on the treatment so it drains your finances. Yeap Hepititis is not as well known as it should be.

I think "Prejudice" is a word that is applied to many things that it isn't related to. It is over used, abused and just plain worn out. If a person doesn't get a job and the other is a diffrent race then they are prejudice, when in all reality you might of been one of many and some one else was a better candidate. It is used to justify bad behavior. I hit them first because they would of hit me, they hate my kind. Yeah and would they have no one will ever know. It is used to get special treatment.
Pejudice is when an opinion is formed before hand, an irrational dislike of a person, the holding of ill-informed opinions of something, and the irrational hatred of a person or group without fondation. If we all stopped forming oppions before we got the facts maybe the word would become the least used. Knowlege is a leathal weapon. The more you know and understand people, situations, and actions the better you react and except the diffrence in each of us.
I have had many instances where I could come to hate a race or religion if I allowed one or two peoples' actions to guide my out look on the groups. For instance, I was driving in a town I did not know and turned down the wrong street. A man I did not know jumped on the running board of my truck and punched my spouce in the face. We were not speeding, or he couldn't of done that, we were lost. We were also not his race and stood out. All we did was make a wrong turn. Another time I was drawing pictures for a bore small child, she loved them. When I carried my clothes out the mother thought I had gone and tore the pictures up, the child was crying when I came back in to get my detergent and her was finishing destroying them while telling her child she didn't need pictures drawn by a cracker. All I drew was a tree and sun and flowers. But again I was not the same race.
My ex was a diffrent religion than I and his minister came down and told me if I did not go to his church my family would be doomed to hades. Well that was not true and the man was a jerk. But I've met others that were the exact opposite.
I know many people of many colors and many religions. I have a varity of friends, (some are even Democrates), of all races, religions and polotics. Because of a few bad apples in the burrel does not mean the barrel is bad. I do not have to hang out with the bad nor do I have to eat the rotten apples. We all make choices and we pass our thoughts and ideals down to our children. I have met pejudice and it comes in many colors, I have met ignorace, it also comes in many colors. It is time we gain knowlege and learn that it is by our actions we should be judged not by what some one thinks we may or may not do or think. Before you can claim a group is one way or the other get to know them one by one and remember, we all have a few bad apples to toss out.
I have found that the person who cries pejudice the loadest is usually the one who holds it dearest. They usually are what they claim others to be. If you look for it in everything then you will find it every where. But if you just look for the good in people you will also find that.
