Nintendo Launches WiiWare In US

IGN.com reports that Nintendo’s WiiWare service launches Monday for its Wii console. WiiWare allows users to download games directly to their consoles by redeeming Wii Points, and offers a selection of games from small independent developers as well as major publishers. The six WiiWare games available at launch include "LostWinds," an adaptation of online flash game "Defend Your Castle" and "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King."
