While playing at a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton, Elton John called the U.S. a misogynistic country. He went on to say that he is shocked that America has not yet produced a female president

Now, if you don't know what misogynistic means, don't feel bad; I had no idea either. Wikipedia says this:

Misogyny (GA , RP ) is hatred or strong prejudice against women. The word comes from the Greek words µ?s?? (misos, "hatred")

Ok, now pay attention class. Sir Elton John may be a knight in his own country, but he is NOTHING here as far as I'm concerned, other than another leftist celebrity spouting off.. I personally don't care what he thinks of our politics. He has come to this country as a guest and chosen to insult us, and it has exposed his ignorance. But his question deserves an answer.

We haven't produced a female president because we haven't had a good female presidential CANDIDATE. Hillary is not only a bad choice, but I suspect that Elton is not supporting her just because she's female (and even if he was that's an obvious problem). No, he supports her because she is a fellow leftist, who is committed to following his European model of socialism.

So I say to Elton John, if you want us to elect a woman for president, how about you FIND US ONE that is viable. Or, better yet, if you don't like it, GO HOME.

There' s a reason why 10,000 bikers walked out of a stadium in Miluakee when Sir John showed up for Harley Davidson's 100th anneversary. This attitude probably has something to do with it.

As much as I never would have thought I would say this but old Elty has a point.

We have been a country that was founded on white men as the powerbrokers.

We have not had a minority because really it has taken so many years for them to make it into offices and power it only stands to reason it will take years for them to rise to the highest office.

But the fun part of this year is: Hopefully we never have to hear it again because now we cant ever say that a black man or a woman has never been the nominee. We will show this year everyone has a chance and so the race baiters and womens lib can shut the F up

Rabbid, Doc,

I'm not going to delete your comments, but, for the record, I don't like their tone.

The reason I don't like Elton has nothing to do with what he does in his bedroom, it has everything to do with what he and his fellow socialists are trying to do to this country.

Two things I could never figure out:

1. Why do so many talented actors & actresses have such a strong affinity for the cuckoo left?

2. Why do they think that rational people will applaud them in the political arena as they do when they are on stage or screen?

Could it be that they have had too much attention all of their lives and now believe that people will pay attention to them no matter what they say?

When I see the vast gap between their lifestyles and mine I wonder why they might want to give some of my money away

I digress - Sir Elton has no business speaking about American politics unless he becomes an American!

How strange that Sir. Elton would be down on Misogyny when the greatest British detective ever known, Sherlock Holmes, was a self-proclaimed and celebrated misogynist. But then you have to remember that Elton has his own feminine identity crisis to struggle with. Personally, I’ve never thought of Hillary as a woman, and apparently Bill hasn’t either. Now Monica, that’s a woman.

elton needs a history lesson. his own country began sometime around 325 bc. it was not until 1879 a woman was let into parliament and not until 1979 a women was a prime minister. america which is around 230 years old has for the past few decades allowed women to be in seats of power. with that said i think we are making wonderful strides for womens rights. just because hillary is a women does NOT automatically mean she should be president.

I care what he does in is bedroom, whether or not I will listen to him.. A man with as many perverse thoughts and actions as himself, is not one to be listened to.

I love to discuss political philosophy. The problem I have is that liberals often assume I'm conservative and convserervatives often assume I'm liberal. It's because I'm neither. I'm libertarian, which means I believe in both social and economic freedom. I don't do personal attacks. I won't respond to yours, and I won't initiate one against you. So save yourself some time if you're thinking of flaming me!
