Instant idiots- just add water.

That advertisement should be embossed on quite a few cars in this area. Why is it that if there are 3 molecules of water anywhere on the surface of the road or the sky, people no longer know how to drive?

IT'S RAIN PEOPLE. Get over it!

I don't think I broke 8mph the entire way home tonight on I-35 because of W A T E R. You're not going to DIE! Depress the long, skinny, vertical peddle people. It will make you GO FORWARD, at speeds far in excess of 8mph.

I moved to Kansas City in 75 from Chicago. I immediately noticed on the hiways here that the hiway system was one of the strangest I had ever seen. Rush hour was truely terrible, and it appeared that if someone rolled down their window and dumped a cup of coffee on the ground, traffic would come to a standstill. I have to agree with you, a little moisture doesn't mean death on the road.

Heck, I am very lucky indeed. traffic is going the other direction for me every day.

JP did you notice the "Be aware of Motorcycle's" being shown on the scout sign's?

But when you add it the soccer moms/business dads in their tanks (SUV's or as I call them, pick=ups on roids), you get people who race along until they see a puddle, then come to a complete stop before proceeding and then hear about wrecks that are just behind them and have no clue they caused it.

Ya I agree golfer. Some of these tanks (I call them that too) are just ridiculously large.

I love it when they're so big they can't fit into one spot so they just take up two.

Do you really need a motor home just to go to work every day?

I haven't seen the "watch for motorcycles" signs in Kansas. I wonder if the KC scout is different from Kansas to Missouri?

Hi, Searching :)

Watch for Motorcycles always. It's nice to see some of our (motorcycle riders) tax money helping us for a change.

It's good to see something on those signs besides "buckle up, arrive alive"

Oh, and it would be nice to see this on those Scout signs as well (at least on the Missouri side) after all it is LAW.....

"if you have to use your wipers, your headlights must be on"

I think I'll start a nwew thread on the messege board "What would you like to see on the Scout signs?"

Peace.

Last week I saw a sign that said "this week is construction worker awareness week" Luckily this is a new week so all the crappy drivers can go back to speeding through construction zones again.(As if they ever stopped)

I can't stand those punks with their big SUV's. Then you get the total idiot with the huge tires and lift kit that thinks he owns the road. lol. Okay so that's me. At least I know mom in the Expedition is more of a problem than I. They are fun to see cruising along 15 mph faster than everyone when there is snow, and then looking clueless as to why they went off the road.

That's funny, twotimes...
JP, you are so right BUT I've never run into horrible drivers until I went to visit my son in Killeen, Texas. Those drivers are crazy. These drivers in Mo. and Ks. are innocent little bunny rabbis compared to the huge green monsters on those roads.

I love to discuss political philosophy. The problem I have is that liberals often assume I'm conservative and convserervatives often assume I'm liberal. It's because I'm neither. I'm libertarian, which means I believe in both social and economic freedom. I don't do personal attacks. I won't respond to yours, and I won't initiate one against you. So save yourself some time if you're thinking of flaming me!
