I would like to know how the women feel with the possibility of Hillary Clinton becoming President?  The reason I ask is this would be a major breakthrough for women but could also become a major disaster for them as well.

What I mean by that is what happens if she fails miserably?  This could set women back 100 years when it comes to having a shot at the Presidency again, because people would say that it is no place for a woman and Hillary just proved that.

Do the women out there like Hillary and think she is the best WOMAN for the job?  If not what WOMAN would be the best candidate?

Do the women out there prefer one gender to the other for the Presidency?

Let me close by saying that I don't have a problem with having a woman President but that I am not sure Hillary is the answer.  I am also just asking these questions and there are no wrong or right answers.  I would just like your thoughts on the subject.

Ok, I know me saying this will start off a fued between me and others, especially women....BUT, they are my opinion specifically meant for me, myself & I. I feel there are certain roles in which women should not be in: Remember, this is only for myself and that I feel this for myself. Here they are:

Ministry
Sports announcers
President
I know they have the right to do them all, but for me I would choose to go to a church where there was a man minister there preaching. I hate to watch sports shows that have a woman sports broadcaster. I will never vite for a woman president, republica or democratic. Only my opinion here, so dont bash me. I know it is going to piss alot of people off, but it is my preferece and my choice.

I might vote for Condi Rice if there were no other options. I don't think women belong in the position of pastor, though. That's very clearly outlined in the Bible. I'm not sure about women's place in govt...Deborah was a woman allowed to be a judge of Israel. Who knows. Let's just say that it would have to be a good woman in order to win my vote.

I Timothy 2:11-14 (NLT)

11 Women should learn quietly and submissively. 12 I do not let women teach men or have authority over them.[b] Let them listen quietly. 13 For God made Adam first, and afterward he made Eve. 14 And it was not Adam who was deceived by Satan. The woman was deceived, and sin was the result.

Speaking as an older woman who was young during "Womens' Liberation" days, I can say with certainty that Hillary Clinton would be a disaster for this country. Her primary interest is in being the First Woman President, not in leading the country. She is NOT the most intelligent woman in American, she is just the most publicized as such. I know many women in medicine and academia much more intelligent, more capable, more "together" than Hillary Clinton can ever hope to be.

I do not trust anyone who refuses to be interviewed unless she is given the questions in advance. That shows dishonesty, scheming and "putting on the best face", not the real "face". If she can't handle an impromptu interview, she will not be able to handle impromptu problems.

i tend to agree with you missnancy, the idea of being the first woman president would be at the top for Hilary..i wouldnt trust anyone neither who had to have the questions in advance to give an interview...

I would NOT vote for Hillary Clinton for
president under any circumstances. I do not
agree with any of her opinions or her agenda.
Deborah, you are right about the role of
women in the church. You know the Bible well.

I DO NOT like Hillary Clinton, wouldn't vote for her to head the 'pooper scooper' committee!!! As for women as president, well, myjobasamom & jessica answered that for me as well as theirselves. NO. women don't belong in authority such as president. I'm not saying they can't do it, its just not their place.

If I had been born with a silver spoon I would of ran for President........I as a woman shudder to think of being quietly and submissively, not in todays world....aka the crime against woman
Do not let women teach men or have authority
..hmm..I am good enough to bear a son, teach/have authority over him as he grows but then I am less of a person when he becomes a male adult???? Honor thy mother!!!!
I came from Adam side to be equal not his feet to be walked on or his head to be above him but his equal......Not try to start a fire but I am not less of a person and wont be treated as one...

It's biblical that women are not to be above men in a ministry. and yes, they are to be submissive, but not a doormat. AND when theré's abuse, the woman has every right to stand up for herself and fight. I would vote for Condi Rice, if she were running and if I didn't like any of the men running...But Hillary? give me a break, and a heartbreak doens't count.

Right on LadyStetson! You go girl I would vote for you if you ran for president. We need women in Congress to get things worked out, they live on budgets everyday and make ends meet with their families so just wonder what they could do for our Country?!?!?!?!?!? Not that a man couldn't do it but, they have showed us they have problems when it comes to budgeting.
