Watching the DNC is better this year  than the previous years...I guess because I'm older and I care about what's going on in my country,  & I'm paying closer attention. My daughter will vote for the first time because she just turned 18.  Now my point to this blog is this.  I feel I have every right to jump up and raise my fist in the air and scream when my taxes are being raised; or when the price of gas raises again. It's my privlege to make comments about Hillary's speech as well, or gasp because Obama has been voted in for the Democratic nonimee.  I have these rights because I'm a registered voter and have been for years.  So, fellow bloggers,  if you're not a registered voter, you have no right, IMO, to gripe, sneer, gaffaw or show gestures when the wrong man wins the Presidental election.  I've been listening to the public and reading the comments by some who don't wish to vote and the reasons they have.  Bottom line. If you didn't vote you have no say in the matter. So, be still.  Many men fought for our right to vote. So, get off your fanny and get registered. Vote and be proud you did vote and be proud we live in the greatest country in the world where we can vote!!

No way. With the final two choices thrown upon us, I say don't vote.

Non voters have the biggest right to complain about the incompetent, lying, cheating, politicians in office because they had the foresight to see this and didn't vote for them.

You voters screw it up for the rest of us clear thinking non voters. We have to live with the mess you voted in.

Same thing for the system itself. This country was bought, paid for, and continues to be run by the unelected lobbyists. So your vote doesn't really matter anyway.

Don't like the way the country is going? Think we have a President who has sent the country down the tubes, thank the voters, they put him in there. But voters, just don't complain about it, your opinion was stated last election day. Non voters, they have a real beef.

Look at the final two contestants. Poor. Either one of them will be one term Presidents because of what he has inherited.

There are other contestants, granted, but, none of them will break the double digit popular vote percentage, so if you non voters really wanted to waste a vote, vote for one of them.

Or, save time that day, wait till 7:00pm till the liquor store opens.

One persons vote doesnt matter in the big picture! All the electorial college votes out weigh the individuals vote anyways. Plus, there is no candidate that deserves a vote.

SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST IDIOTS...

8 is ENOUGH

Any fool that votes for John McCain needs to NOT cry when they lose their cozy home in the cul-de-sac, cant fuel their vehicle, feed their labradors, keep their jobs or afford HealthCare..

Everyone that has been affected by Bush, that were once supporters who had the Middle Class lifestyle and was proud of it and is now at risk of being at poverty level will not be voting for McCain in 08'... I'm Sorry! There are more people that will vote for Obama than McCain, so forget the gallop polls and news report polls, critics are usually wrong 90% of the time to begin with... And no one cares about any computer bums political views to determine who they will vote for. We listen to the Nominee's, not [email protected]...

When will yall figure that out? Quit wasting your time...

he2funny, I can see why your infavor of obama! And everyone has NOT been affected by Bush. Do you really think Bush has that much control? The senate and congress has way more power than ANY president! LEt me guess, you probably dont like the war either? Well, guess what, its those men and womens job to do what they do! There has not been a draft. So why do you blame Bush? People need to look outside the box and learn how politics work. The president is nothing more than a figue head!

Is that a statement, a question or a comedy routine?
Aren't the polls showing Obama in the lead? Geez, I guess you're hoping your own words are wrong!

spellcheck,
I'm very disappointed. You articulate and opine enough to deserve to be heard. You should vote. Maybe your specific vote won't or hasn't made a difference... yet. But if your attitude wins, then a BIG difference will prevail. Heck, I don't care if people vote with me or against me, just vote.
Dang, vote for the Communist Party ticket (oel, do they have one?), just vote.

Bush has more say so then you are implying... He can propose changes, he can make changes, and he sure as hell can veto them right?? I'm not blaming Bush, but all he did was sit around and do nothing. He is the voice, they can take his lead and he can lead this country in a better direction as its been the last 8 years. Bush isnt the messenger, he's upper management..

lMatt, and who hasnt been affected by Bush? I DO OPPOSE THE WAR. It was stupid to begin with and sure America is safer, but Bin Laden is still out there when he is the one that took the lives of so many people on US soil, what did Bush do, umm let me rephrase that, what did the "figure head" do? Squat! Our men and women are in Iraq doing an unnecessary job for an idiot!

And yes DogJ, I said that... Are you saying that the Polls are correct? Just because they are in favor of Obama doesnt mean he's going to win, they are hardly right! Just a calculated guess that in the beginning had Obama as the least favorable to win. :)

What does the American People think about FEMA operated concentration camps, sorry, 'civilaian labor camps' poping up all over America that come complete with rail access, barbed-wire fencing/guard towers, gas chambers and furnaces? What do you think? Is it time to wake up and start thinking for ourselves or is it more of a sign to go back to sleep and let our government keep 'on track' with operations like this? Follow the link to view the video and think for yourself.

I've voted every election since old enough to vote. This year, I'm not sure I'll vote. I'm not for either candidate. Where can I get info on Nader? I know he used to be the champion for the working people. I would like to see what his platform is.
